8 weeks ago today, Morgan and I celebrated our last Sabbath as "single" individuals (according to the state, at least). Our families and friends came together a day before the wedding to worship and eat together, and to just spend time enjoying each other's company. It was truly a blessing to Morgan and I, and one of the highest highlights of the weekend for us.

Church
We had an awesome church service for friends and family that were in town already. We did some singing, and then our good friend Mollie Dupper delivered a BEAUTIFUL sermon that had us feeling a bit emotional, and more in love with Jesus.
Afterward, we had a nice little potluck lunch (of course it was haystacks-Aventists' version of taco salad).

He's Single, Ladies.

So Are They.

Rehearsal
Later on, we went through the motions of the wedding ceremony. That's when it all started to feel real. Something about seeing your fiancee walking formally on her dad's arm makes it impossible to neglect what is actually about to happen.
Also, we are flippin' blessed with amazing friends and family. Just sayin'.

Alyssa is about to pop.
And for those of you thinking anything (far too prematurely)... Morgan is more than happy to live vicariously through others for at several years at least. :)

Rehearsal Dinner
My mom found this vineyard in the middle of NOWHERE, Nebraska, and it was PERFECT. We loved every minute.
And of course after the delicious food, we had homemade ice cream. Its a necessity.
As it got darker out, the fun lights came on, and it was just a beautiful, wonderful setting.
We went our separate ways for time with our bridal party and the next time I saw Morgan... she looked GOOD.

Here are some pictures from that day!
If you want to see more pictures like these, my brother-in-law posted about 250 on flickr, which you can view here!
Also, a quick update: marriage is still awesome.
